MSCC Meetup – Developing Intelligent Apps
On July 29th, we had a meetup regarding the development of Intelligent Apps by using the Microsoft Cloud technologies.
Since the developers conference where Neil and I talked about Azure Machine Learning and showcased how we can use cloud technologies to build intelligent apps, we noticed a good interest in this area and therefore decided to host a meetup around this topic.

You can read more about the steps to build your first bot on my series of articles on TechNet Wiki.
Building Bots using Azure Bot Service – By Adrien Rose
Finally, the last session was by Adrien. He explained how to build a bot using Azure services, add automation such as CI/CD and deploy a bot to several channels.
The session explored one of the industry’s first Chatbot-as-a-Service platforms – Microsoft’s Azure Bot Service. With a more hands-on approach, the demo consisted of creating and deploying a Weather Bot – capable of providing weather reports for specific locations on request.
A big thanks to all speakers, attendees and to Middlesex University for providing a venue.
